The Adventures of Maggie MacLeod is a work of historical fiction, set in Dunvegan, Isle of Skye, Scotland in mid-late 17th Century. The story follows the life of Margaret Olivia MacLeod of Dunvegan, a fictional character. Nicknamed Maggie, she is a confident, joyful, angelic soul who is unexpectedly acquires great responsibility. The foundation of family, friends and community empowers her to succeed, but along the way she meets many people with nefarious intent.
